We offer free local (< 20 km) delivery on orders over $250. For delivery outside of the 20 km boundary, please contact us to receive a quote. We offering shipping of seeds all year. Although we don’t typically ship plants, we can arrange small shipments in the spring/fall.Please reach out to inquire about our live plant shipping fees.

All shrubs and trees planted by our team are guaranteed for the season in which they are planted, plus the following growing season. Perennials, grasses, and ferns planted by our team are guaranteed for the season in which they are planted.

This guarantee applies only to plant material installed by Hidden Habitat.

For plants purchased through our nursery and not installed by us, we do not offer a formal guarantee. However, as growers, we care deeply about how our plants perform and are always keen to learn what’s working—and what isn’t. If you experience issues, we encourage you to reach out.

The best time to sow most native seeds is in late fall, allowing natural winter conditions to provide the cold, moist stratification many species need to break dormancy. Yes, we can take of your plants until you are ready for them. Please read our Order Holding & Plant Care Policy

We’re happy to hold plant orders for a short period; however, due to the care and space required to maintain healthy plant material, a storage and maintenance fee will apply to orders held beyond 14 days.

• 0–14 days: No charge
• 15–30 days: 5% of order total
• 31–60 days: 10% of order total
• 61+ days: 15% of order total (or subject to reassessment)

Fees are applied to cover ongoing watering, care, and space allocation. Extended holding periods may also increase the risk of plant stress or loss, particularly during peak summer conditions.

This policy applies to all orders requested to be held or not picked up within 14 days of notification that the order is ready.
